University  of Birmingham (UoB) received its Royal Charter in 900 and is considered among the top 100 Universities of the World. It counts 11 Nobel Laureates among its staff and alumni. It has over 8700 students from 151 countries.  UoB and IBSA wish to enter into a co-operative relationship for the general purpose of promoting collaborations and joint activities to explore and develop new academic and education partnerships. On the above lines, a MOU was signed at New Delhi on 24 November, 2022 by Professor Adam Tickell, Vice Chancellor of UoB and Subrata Paul, President of IBSA. The occasion was graced by the presence of several delegates from UoB, industry stalwarts and government officials. IBSA was represented by Saptarshi Kar, Secretary, Gopal Krishna GSS, Amitava Ghosh and Kaustabh Basu. IBSA is looking forward to forging stronger links with UoB so that stronger relationships may be built up in the educational front, furthering UK-India relationship.
